Founder's Story
My journey began in Nyalenda Slum, Kisumu, Kenya, where rotting waste and polluted rivers were our daily companions. Sickened by the filth and ashamed of my home’s reputation, I sought change. I got inspired by the use of Black soldier flies to reduce waste, then I became interested in incubating insects to create a healthier environment. This gave hope for a future in which insects could be a solution for unemployment, food insecurity and pollution.

By using insects like Black Soldier Fly larvae, crickets, and superworms, we can break down food waste quickly and efficiently. These insects transform waste into valuable products, like high-protein animal feed and nutrient-rich fertilizer.
